From information I received from Linc years ago, all these children were allowed to come from England, their Father James a Convict.
Unfortunately after James was free, he used to beat his wife Catherine, but it ended in her death, and James back in jail.
Very sad story but if one of the girls hadn't married James McNamee, I would not have been born; something good came out of this family. They all went on to make good lives for themselves.
