I am a direct descendant of Rebecca Bennett, who's correct name was Sarah Rebecca Bennett.  She married Joseph Henry Aldridge. They were the parents of my maternal grandfather, also names Joseph Henry Aldridge.

Sarah Rebecca Bennett married Joseph Aldridge.  Their youngest daughter Olive (Edith) had 2 illegitimate sons, both of whom subsequently became wards of the state and were adopted out.  The second son, born in 1922 was my father.
