This orphan has been claimed by: Vicki Beveridge

George arrived with his mother Eliza Williams aka Mary Connor aka Susan Benson and was put in orphanage from time of arrival until his mother claimed him when she got her ticket of leave. I am searching more about George. Susan Benson and Thomas Hewitt were together by the time  his mother claimed him and George has half brothers and sisters. They eventually left Tasmania for Victoria. I am searching more about George as hopefully this will give us more information about his life and his mothers. They arrived on Ship Edward 4 Sept 1834. The mystery of George Williams is where did he end up and does he have decendants.

I am descended from Susan and Thomas Hewitt through their son Thomas who immigrated to New Zealand.
