I am a descendant of Owen's mother Ann Connor who married Abraham Leach in VDL in 1845.
Owen was born in Ireland shortly before his mother's conviction and travelled with her to VDL on the convict ship Mary Ann III (2). As far as I am aware, Ann and Abraham's young family and Owen travelled to Victoria early in 1853. Sadly, Ann died near Castlemaine in 1855, Owen was then 16 years old . I am happy to be contacted by other researchers.
