We know a lot about Emma, her mother (Elizabeth Attwood), her ancestors, her husband (Henry Surman) and her descendants. Three of Emma's and Henry's children married members of the same Cohen family and we know a lot about their ancestors and descendants. Emma's story, and lots more, is told in a privately published book by Geoff Court and Pam Zopf - From Different Climes - in 2014.
