Elizabeth Emery Hornsey, was born 8 March 1845, at Upper Marshall St., St Thomas Birmingham, Co. Warwick, UK., and from her Birth Certificate, her parents were John Hornsey, occ farmer, & Sarah Hornsey, nee Emery.
Sarah Hornsey, was tried 1850 at Northampton, and she was in Millbank Prison in 1851 before being transported with two children, Elizabeth and John, on the 'Duchess of Northumberland' to Hobart.
Elizabeth and John Hornsey were in 'St Johns' until 1858 when their mother was 'free'.
Elizabeth Emery Hornsey married George William Hayton, 26 April 1869. They had 7 children. She moved to Sydney about 1908, George had died 1889. Elizabeth had several daughters living there, one was Trixie Gladys Hayton, who was my husbands grandmother.
Elizabeth died at Chatswood Sydney on 8 July 1923 & is buried at Northern Suburbs Cemetery.
The name 'Frederick Webb' appears on Sarahs indent, it doesn't say he was the father of Elizabeth or John and I have not found Johns birth registertration to check that. Deirdre
