Born Lucy Clarke on 6 July 1858 at Hobart, father John Clarke, mother Margaret Doherty.
Margaret's first husband George Jenkins deserted her in 1856. John and Margaret didn't formally marry (as far as I know).
John & Margaret with three children migrated to Timaru, New Zealand in 1867.
Lucy married John Harper Morris on 1 November 1874 at St Lukes Anglican Church, Christchurch.
Lucy died on 13 September 1906 at Christchurch.
Lucy is my gg grandmother.
