Margaret Sumner (Sumler/Summers) was born  3 April 1845 at Greater Swan Port, to Robert Sumner (Sumler/Summers) who arrived as a convict, per Argyle 1831 and his wife Margaret (nee Pennycook) also a convict, per Atwick 1838. When Margaret was 2 years old her baby sister died and within a couple of months her mother died.  Her father did not die until 25 Nov 1861 at Port Sorell. Margaret married James Fidler (Fiddler) on 8 May 1863, at New Ground. She had 11 children, one named Joseph became my paternal grandfather. Margaret died 3 June 1923, Leith, Tasmania.
