This orphan has been claimed by: Margaret Wilkins-Russell

James Wilkins was born on 20 January, 1854, in London.  He was baptised at St Mary's, Marylebone.  He drowned on 25 October, 1864, aged 10 years, at Barnes Bay, Bruny, Hobart.  He is buried at Burying Point Lone Grave BY08/00001.

James was the brother of my maternal Great-Grandmother, Elizabeth Sarah Wilkins (aka Elizabeth Maud/Maud E) who moved to Sydney with her father, John Thomas Wilkins, in January 1865.  Elizabeth gave birth to my Grandfather, George Alfred Wilkins - father unknown - in 1876.

Elizabeth married George John Field and later William Mees.
